DEBRA WONG is a versatile pianist with a wealth of solo and ensemble performing experience. She began her piano studies at the age of five. She later studied with Professor Eleanor Wong at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and Professor David Gwilt at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Having been awarded the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in piano performance with distinction in 2003, she was invited to perform in the ABRSM Diploma Award Ceremony held in Hong Kong in November 2004. In the same year she was made a Fellow (with distinction) of the Royal Schools of Music.
After obtaining her BA(Hons) in English, she was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music, London where she studied with Ms. Diana Ketler and graduated with a Master of Music in piano performance.
Past appearances include solo recitals in Hong Kong and guest performances on various occasions, including numerous appearances in which she took up the role of an accompanist or as part of a chamber ensemble.
